Sailing since I was a child, sailing is one my passions: It is a natural expression of who I am. I skipper and facilitate workshop learning experiences onboard my own boat, S.V. Conversations and lead groups of up to 14 people aboard based on the Sail7Cs model. I am also a charter skipper on vessels such as S.V. Long Ranger

Not sailing much, flying instead - towing gliders(L19 Birddog) and soaring Pacific Northwest, building and flying ultra-lights, parachuting etc.

Skippering in the 80s:

CYA Certified Coastal Cruising Instructor – Comox BC - teaching and leading fleet cruises in Desolation Sound
Built racing sloop (Dash 34 - Laurie Davidson designed) "Rapier" from hull and deck kit - raced and cruised her 6 years in Pacific Northwest, cruised the Great Lakes in Rapier for two summers
