The next Leg of a voyage around the world

Who would have imagined our stay in Singapore would stretch to six years?! Its been a great time in Singapore and SE Asia- new boat, many new friends, much learning and teaching, and quite a few cruising adventures right here. But it is time to get off the dock and back out to sea! We have spent years preparing the new boat, and now she is ready.
Dateline: 27 September, 2011
After crusing some of Malaysia and Borneo, S.V. Conversations is now more than halfway across the Sothern Indian Ocean. After being safely tied up in Jakarta at the Batavia Marina until the first week of August, we sailed for Cocos Keeling, Rodreguez and then to Mauritius. We expect to be exploring here until well into October then on to Reunion and South Africa. We plan to be in Cape Town South Africa by Christmas. It doesn't sound like much when you say it quickly, but its still well over 3000 miles of big Ocean, includingt a rounding of the Cape of Good Hope. Here is our route:
